vrbuild is a command-line utility for Mac OS X which assembles images into QuickTime VR Movies. If you don't know what QTVR Movies are, and have QuickTime installed, you can see one here (Try to click and drag on the image. The distortion gets less if you zoom in a bit by pressing the SHIFT key).
The intended use of the program is to combine it with 3D rendering programs like blender or POV-Ray to create 360° views of your imaginary scenes and objects.
vrbuild is released under the GPL, version 3 or above.
Currently there are no official releases of vrbuild (coming soon), but you can check out the source from the subversion repository. See the sourceforge project page for more info on svn access.
vrbuild needs libxml++, version 2.6 or later, to compile and to run. Since libxml++ in turn has lots of other dependencies, I recommend using some package management system like MacPorts or Fink to install it.
Documentation is still a bit meager. There is a XML Description File Syntax Reference, though.
